The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description Duties may include but are not limited to the following...Maintaining grounds, roadways, trails, campsites, flower beds, cutting grass, weed wacking, removing downed limbs and debris, properly cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, picking up litter, providing information to patrons regarding park facilities and use, office tasks such as keyboarding and answering phones, registering campers, running errands, interior/exterior painting, minor repairs to picnic tables and firepits, handle complaints or inquiries from park patrons, enforce campground rules and regulations, handle and account for money for revenue close out reports, must have reliable transportation and be available to work weekends and holidays through Labor Day, must be punctual and show up to work on time, mustcomply and be familiar with guidelines in the guidance manual, must be able to operate a motorboat safely and have NYS boating safety course.
The minimum qualifications required for this vacancy. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be at least 16 years of age. Preference may be given to candidates 18 years of age with a valid driver's license.
Additional comments regarding the vacancy. Additional Comments This is a seasonal, hourly appointment with an anticipated end date of 11/30/2025. Program needs and funding will determine actual termination date. Must have a valid driver’s license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position.Must be able to negotiate difficult terrain.Must be able to work in remote areas.Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions. Overtime may be required. Weekends and holidays may be required.
