Responsibilities
- Conduct field investigations, site assessments, and environmental sampling (soil, water, air, and waste).
- Perform data collection, analysis, and interpretation to support environmental projects.
- Assist in preparing technical reports, environmental impact assessments, and regulatory compliance documents.
- Support environmental permitting and compliance efforts for clients.
- Conduct environmental due diligence, including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA).
- Assist with remediation system design, implementation, and monitoring.
- Work with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Participate in health and safety planning and adhere to company safety protocols.
- Analyze laboratory results and prepare summaries for project managers and clients.
- Assist in preparing proposals and project budgets.
- Conduct GIS mapping, data visualization, and modeling (if applicable).
- Travel to project sites as needed for fieldwork and client meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in environmental consulting, fieldwork, or a related role.
- Familiarity with federal and state environmental regulations (e.g., CERCLA, RCRA, CWA, CAA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with environmental sampling techniques and field instrumentation.
- Proficiency in GIS, data analysis, and environmental modeling software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for fieldwork.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
