Reports to: Executive Team
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: On-call, Monday to Friday, nights and weekends as needed, based on project requirements.
Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000 per year
About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead our Raleigh, NC location. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, work closely with the sales team, manage the warehouse, and lead a diverse team of employees. This role plays a key part in hiring and training, ensuring smooth cross-departmental communication, and maintaining strong customer relationships. You'll collaborate closely with the Director of Operations in Charlotte, leveraging tools such as Albi, Monday.com, Corrigo, CRM, and CompanyCam to streamline operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management:
- Manage all aspects of employee lifecycle: hiring, training, performance reviews, and terminations as necessary.
- Lead and mentor a team including warehouse staff, restoration technicians, and office personnel.
- Foster effective communication across departments (sales, operations, billing, etc.) to ensure alignment and efficiency.

Warehouse Management:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, organization, and safety compliance.
- Ensure equipment and supplies are well-maintained and readily available to support restoration projects.

Customer Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving issues promptly.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to promote customer retention and satisfaction.

Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Partner with the sales team to develop growth strategies that align with operational capabilities.
- Coordinate closely with the Director of Operations in Charlotte to ensure cohesive management across locations.
- Collaborate with the billing department to guarantee accurate and timely invoices.

Tech & Data Management:
- Proficient in MS Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
- Utilize Albi, Monday.com, Corrigo, CRM, and CompanyCam to track project progress, monitor employee performance, and manage data efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, operational metrics, and customer interactions.

Operational Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management for the Raleigh location.

Financial Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the regional office's annual budget, ensuring alignment with company goals and financial targets.
- Monitor and control operational costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality.
- Analyze financial reports to track revenue, expenses, and profitability, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Approve expenditures within designated authority levels and oversee local purchasing processes.
- Review Corporate provided accurate and timely financial reporting with the Executive Team, including monthly, quarterly, and annual Operational, KPI and Financial reports.
- Support all audit processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

Reporting Requirements:
- Prepare and submit comprehensive operational and financial reports to the Executive Team, including performance metrics, budget variances details, and strategic recommendations as required.
- Provide regular updates on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations, sales support, customer satisfaction, and employee productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to report on project status, risk assessments, and resource allocation.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting platforms, including Albi, Monday.com, Corrigo, CRM, and CompanyCam.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably within disaster restoration, construction, or related service industries.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of team motivation and operational success.
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in using platforms like Albi, Monday.com, Corrigo, CRM, and CompanyCam.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics best practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse departments such as sales, billing, and executive leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Additional Details: This is a full-time role based in Raleigh, NC. The General Manager will report to company executives and maintain close coordination with the Director of Operations in Charlotte. Some travel between company locations may be required.
