Aftermarket Estimator
Hybrid; Full-time; Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Job summary
Position is responsible forpreparing cost estimates and proposals for site services in accordance with EDI policy, application guidelines and parameters. Upon completion of each project, this position is responsible for post order project reviews to ensure pricing programs and tools are profitable for EDI.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review specifications and requirements for deviations/exceptions to EDI design guidelines and standard offerings. Review construction documents and understand scope of work to bid.
- Develop proposals and quotes to perform site services.
- Complete the quote using the appropriate cost tool for the desired products and labor; request and obtain miscellaneous cost estimates to complete the quote.
- Ensure scope of proposal is accurate to the quote requested and completed in a timely manner.
- Upon project completion, review Job Costs Analysis to ensure cost estimate accuracy and update quoting procedures accordingly.
- Occasional Field work that may occur to support familiarity with EDI product and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED, preferred 1-2 years of directly related experience or Associate’s degree.
- Preferred knowledge of EDI system components and parts used to create aeration designs and methods of installation and maintenance of aeration systems.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage and to draw and interpret graphs.
- Apply critical thinking skills to make rational decisions. Familiarity with reading drawings.
- Required proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with a preferred proficiency with EDI estimating software (Epicor).

This employee can work under extreme deadlines, can manage time, and can multitask quickly. They have a high level of organization. The employee has fluency written and spoken English. Must be able to use a computer to complete tasks with a high level of organization.
