Production Operator
Full-Time; On Site; Overtime as needed; $16-$21/hour, Days M–Th 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Read and interpret basic blueprint drawings to produce quality products.
· Use and read a tape measure down to 1/16” accuracy.
· Utilize presses, power tools and other common hand tools in the performance of daily production activities.
· Work safely and efficiently to complete production requirements.
· Maintain accurate records of production and input correct quantities into the computer.
· Properly use primer and pvc glue for solvent welding of assemblies.
· Perform regular quality checks on finished parts and identify anything that does not meet our quality standards.
· Reading BOM’s and verifying the correct part assembly.
· Perform 5s and kaizen events as required.
· Forklift operations will be required in some areas.
· Accurately count and record raw and finished goods.
Skills and Experience
· Previous manufacturing, assembly or construction experience required.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Excellent attendance.
· Ability to stand for long periods of time.
· Lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
· Be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment during summer months.
· Strong team collaboration and great communication skills.
Physical/Work Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to perform routine tasks. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms to reach items on shelfs. The employee must be able lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Must be able to stand/walk on concrete for long periods of time (10-hour shifts). Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Work Environment
Noise level may require use of Hearing Protection in areas. This position will mainly work in an non-controlled claimant-warehouse environment during the summer months. This position may require work on weekends and/or holidays depending on workload.
Mental Environment
This employee can work under extreme deadlines, can manage time, and can multitask quickly. They have a high level of organization. The employee has strong fluency written and spoken English. Must be able to use a computer to complete tasks with a high level of organization.
