What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Operations Branch Manager position at Environmental Pest Control?

- Greet techs at the warehouse each morning and ensure they have what they need.
- Manage pest and wildlife removal technicians at your branch - prospecting, interviews, hiring & firing, initial training, day to day operations, and ongoing training/support.
- Ensure warehouse is properly staffed at all times so that the scheduled work is always able to be completed. Always be prepared with new hires by following up on applications.
- Run regular meetings to ensure pest and wildlife techs are prepared for the day.
- Using warehouse training manual, incorporate training on current pest/rodent issues into morning meetings based on seasonality.
- Manage inventory – ensure techs are loading appropriate amounts, train techs on proper usage of chemicals, and take month end inventory.
- Manage vehicles – ensure vehicles are in good working order at all times. Submit for vehicle repairs when needed, make sure tire pressures and fluids are good in-between routine maintenance, and coordinate with mobile mechanic to service entire fleet for routine maintenance
- Manage equipment – ensure equipment is in good working order at all times. Submit for equipment repairs when needed. Coordinate with mobile mechanic for repairs as needed.
- Perform manager visits in your territory to ensure high customer satisfaction. Sell additional services that will benefit customers.
- Sell leads provided due to overflow or backup to outside sales team.
- Upsell current customers when possible
