A Field Technician would work on field service crews for our Power Substation Services (PSS) division and would also on the Environmental Protection Services (EPS) field crews. PSS performs transformer repairs, transformer oil sampling and operates oil processing equipment. EPS focuses on removing transformers and other electrical equipment from substations. This job will require someone that has experience using hand and power tools, experience working with boom lifts and forklifts and is able to perform manual labor. Extensive travel is required for this position.
When working in the field, the company provides all employees individual hotel rooms and daily per diem for meals. The company also provide fully equipped work trucks for the crews along with required clothing and all safety gear required to perform the field projects.
The job will be based out of Wheeling, WV but travel will be throughout the United States. In the event there are no field projects on the schedule, the employee will be given the option to work at the company facility.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
