Environmental Remedies LLC, a leading full-service environmental company in the Southeast, is seeking an experienced Dump Trailer Driver to join our growing team. This role is critical to delivering high-quality service while ensuring a commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork.
Core Responsibilities:
- Operate a tractor with a dump trailer to haul solid waste materials from company locations to designated landfills.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Properly and safely tarp, un-tarp, and dump all materials from the trailer.
- Secure and release tailgate mechanisms safely and effectively.
- Maintain vehicle and equipment to meet the highest quality and safety standards.
- Follow designated routes while adhering to schedules and operational requirements.
- Complete all required safety documentation and job-related paperwork accurately.
- Promptly and accurately report any accidents, incidents, or injuries.
Qualifications (Must-Have):
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class A CDL (Tanker Endorsement preferred but not required).
- 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- 2 years of dump trailer operation experience.
- Acceptable driving record per company insurance carrier standards.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
- Proficient in using handheld devices such as smartphones and tablets.
