Industry leading environmental contractor seeking a highly skilled working foreman/universal heavy equipment operator for diverse and challenging projects.
Requirements:
- Capable of safely and proficiently operating multiple pieces of construction equipment – trackhoes, backhoes, loader
- Must be proficient and knowledgeable in trenching, working on slopes and in tight spaces, demolition/hydraulic hammers, and mass excavation techniques
- General knowledge of the construction industry and/or environmental remediation
- Ability to travel throughout Arizona and neighboring states as needed
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred or an employer-paid training path will be provided
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be dependable, motivated and have a positive attitude
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Must be able to complete reports accurately, demonstrate good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Safety-sensitive position subject to drug and alcohol testing, including ongoing random testing
- Travel required (home on weekends)
- Ability to work occasional Saturdays, if necessary
- Excellent pay
