Job Summary
We are seeking an Environmental Remediation Specialist to join our team at Environmental Restoration. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing non-emergency and emergency response activities with hazardous materials. This role requires a strong commitment to health and safety, with a focus on following our PROS protocol to ensure a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform non-emergency and emergency response activities with hazardous materials.
- Ensure health and safety is the number one goal by following PROS - Pause, Review, Observe, Start.
- Perform labor-intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift.
- Work in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces, and at heights.
- Work with and around light and heavy equipment, including skid steers, forklifts, and pressure washers.
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Warehouse maintenance, stock supplies, and building maintenance.
- Be available for emergency response work after-hours and on weekends.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Requirements:
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening, criminal background check, and physical exam.
- Be legally eligible to work in the United States (verified through E-Verify).
- Be willing to obtain OSHA (40 hour) Certification (reimbursement program available).
- Have the ability and willingness to work in a physically intensive role.
- Be able to interpret and follow written and oral instructions and assignments.
