We are currently looking for a motivated and ambitious Janitorial/Housekeeping Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have reliable transportation, a great work ethic, demonstrated supervisory experience, and will be ready to learn and grow with our team!
General Duties and Responsibilities:
The Supervisor will assist the Project Manager with managing the janitorial staff:
- Responsible for inspecting quality and quality control of work performed.
- Responsible for assisting Project Manager with employee safety training and implementing company safety program.
- Responsible for maintaining proper inventory control of supplies and materials needed for the cleaning program.
- Responsible for managing employees effectively during shift and see that all work is being performed to company/client standard.
- Hold daily meetings with the crew to go over that day's responsibilities/work orders.
- Complete necessary paperwork for the shift.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license and pass MVR
- Retail and Commercial Housekeeping/Janitorial experience required
- Demonstrated ability to supervise teams of people
- Comprehensive knowledge of floor and surface care
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs frequently, walk, stand, bend, twist, climb stairs, etc.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Must be safety conscious
Shift: 7am to 3:30 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
