Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities:

Opus Inspection, The National Leader in Vehicle Emissions Inspections doing business in Colorado as Air Care Colorado is seeking a full-time Station Manager to oversee operations at one of our full-service vehicle emissions testing centers. This role is responsible for meeting all the compliance requirements in aspects such as operational, contractual, and federal guidelines. The Station Manager is accountable for all inspection station operations, including but not limited to the safety of staff and customers, equipment management, staff hiring, coaching, and development. Also responsible for operational scheduling, handling financial transactions, traffic flow, staff management, and public relations. This is a full-time interactive and collaborative supervisory role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

These are not all-encompassing lists of duties and requirements; they are general guidelines. Additional duties and requirements are based on the needs of the station and district.

  • Standard Hours Requirement: 40 Hours; 5 Days a Week - Saturday Availability Required

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Manage and coordinate inspection station operations within budgetary guidelines and in accordance with policies and procedures

  • Opens and closes the station as needed

  • Performs cash-outs and cash-drops according to established procedures and schedules

  • Performs general lane operations, including tag renewals, greeting motorists as they enter the inspection station, and provides general program information

  • Ensures good public relations among the company, employees, and community

  • Schedules work assignments to ensure proper staffing

  • Reports daily, weekly, and monthly operation activity

  • Conducts employee training as necessary

  • Coordinates general facility maintenance, including janitorial upkeep

  • Conduct employee reviews

  • Coordinates & Issues disciplinary action to employees as needed

  • Works to mitigate employee issues

  • Provides assistance to other stations in their districts as needed, ensuring the success of the district and the network operations

  • Other duties as assigned
