ETC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales and Marketing to lead and grow our sales and marketing operations. This individual will collaborate closely with executive leadership to expand ETC's market presence in environmental testing, laboratory analysis, and consulting services—with a specialized focus on asbestos, lead, mold, and industrial hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales & Marketing Leadership
- Lead, manage, and hold the sales and marketing team accountable to clear performance metrics and ETC Core Values.
- Translate company vision into executable sales and marketing strategies.
- Optimize team structure, processes, and tools to achieve revenue goals in alignment with business objectives.
- Use data analytics and CRM tools to inform territory management, opportunity prioritization, and forecasting.
- Represent ETC at industry events and trade shows to build brand presence and establish new business opportunities.
Team Development & Performance Management
- Recruit, train, coach, and retain top-performing sales and marketing professionals.
- Set clear expectations and performance metrics; align individual roles with quarterly and annual goals.
- Foster a culture of high engagement and continuous improvement.
- Ensure team members are technically proficient and articulate ETC services with confidence and integrity.
- Conduct regular field observations and performance reviews with feedback grounded in measurable outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Operations, Laboratory, and Field Services teams to align sales commitments with service capabilities.
- Maintain open communication between technical and sales staff to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Collaborate on service development and enhancements to stay competitive and responsive to market needs.
Operational Excellence & Planning
- Manage the full scope of sales operations, including budgeting, reporting, and process improvement.
- Implement systematic approaches to pricing, contract approvals, and ROI tracking.
- Maintain rigorous compliance with CRM usage and regulatory standards in all marketing collateral.
- Participate as a key member of the company’s EOS Leadership Team, contributing to annual and quarterly strategic planning sessions.
- Drive strategic market research initiatives and lead the development of new services in response to evolving industry trends.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- Experience in consultative selling within environmental services or related technical/scientific fields.
- Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, AHERA regulations and government contracting processes.
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience or background in environmental compliance or testing.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Environmental Consulting Services industry.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CHMM or similar) are a plus but not required.
