Job Summary:
We are seeking a part time reliable and skilled Equipment Manager / Handyman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of repair, organization and maintenance tasks, ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, carpentry, and general and small engine repairs.
Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues.
Assist in maintaining company vehicles.
Install and repair appliances and fixtures.
Assemble furniture and equipment as needed.
Maintain the exterior of the building, including landscaping and snow removal.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Collaborate with other team members and contractors as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as an equipment manager / handyman or in a similar role.
Proficient in a variety of skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting small engine repair.
Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
