What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Manager position at EnviroServe?
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining the EnviroServe Maintenance Program. Equipment will range from belt conveyors, excavating heavy equipment, troubleshooting hydraulic pump units, basic yellow equipment maintenance/ troubleshooting, railcar unloading loading systems.

- Perform pre/post shift equipment inspections.
- Maintain and report spare parts inventory.
- Properly record and complete maintenance reports and service records.
- Repair and maintain pumps, motors, hydraulics, conveyors, mobile and plant specific equipment.
- Complete PM services on plant and process equipment.
- Assist with re railing of railcars, cleanup of spilled rail cars, and track repairs.
- Must be willing to perform any other special tasks assigned by management.
- Supports the EnviroServe
- S7 Delivery System.
- Must be able to work alone and self-motivated
- Experience with automated equipment and basic computers is a plus.
- Must have a strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting background.
- Experience and certification operating a crane is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience with conveyors, changing rollers, pulleys, motors, changing and vulcanizing belts, hoppers, magnets, scales, etc.
- At least 5 years of experience with heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge and working experience with several types of welding and cutting Must be familiar with computers and understand maintenance systems, truck, engine, and transmission diagnostics software
- Must be familiar with record-keeping as it pertains to maintenance of DOT regulations
- Must have a sufficient number of personal tools to effectively maintain equipment
- Must be proficient at welding steel, cutting using torch and plasma
- Need to understand the importance of scheduling equipment for servicing
- Must have experience working on equipment that operate in harsh environments
- Must understand and have experience working with air brakes and hydraulics
- Must understand Hydraulic systems
- Must have a good working knowledge of diesel engine systems and all aspects of diagnosing, repair and maintenance of the systems
- Must understand their own limitations and know when to ask for help
- Ability to change a flat tire
- Flexibility to work based on customer demand which may include some evenings and weekends.
