Plant Technician Job Summary
This is a full-time regular position within our Production department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and operating various plant equipment, ensuring efficient production processes and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair plant equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating machinery
- Operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts and cranes, as needed
- Collaborate with team members to resolve production issues and improve efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR)
- At least one year of experience in general labor, shop maintenance, or a related field
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced production environment, with regular exposure to machinery and equipment. Travel may be required up to 15% of the time.
