EnviroVantage is looking for Project Managers.
Essential Functions:
- Take ownership of a project upon award and see through to completion
- Establish project objectives, milestones, budgets, and project schedules
- Procure supplies and materials to complete a project buy-out
- Oversee and provide guidance to Foremen/Superintendents to plan, organize and direct activities related to schedule, labor, equipment, materials and disposal on their jobs
- Monitor production and project costs to ensure each job is completed on schedule
- Review and sign off on daily manpower and progress reports for their jobs
- Continually update a 3-week look ahead for all projects
- Interact with the customer on a regular basis and be the lead on negotiation for any scope discrepancy or issues on the job site
- Proactively develop relationships with subcontractors
- Oversee all change order requests and submit in conjunction w/ estimating and finance
- Responsible to ensure project close out package is completed, and job can be billed in full
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years working as a Project Manager in the construction and/or environmental remediation fields
- Experience managing federal government contracts preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Must be able to pass a federal government background screen
Certifications:
- OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training. If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training. If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire
Working Environment/Physical Demands:
- Coordination: Ability to coordinate your actions with those of other workers on busy construction sites
- Attendance: Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner; regular and prompt attendance are an essential job function
- Working Conditions: Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, rain, pollution and toxic atmospheres
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ability to wear required PPE, including respirator, and participate in OSHA-required medical surveillance programs as necessary
- Lifting: Ability to pick up construction debris and able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally and occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Sedentary Work: Must be able to sit for prolonged periods (up to 6 hours per day) with occasional standing and walking.
- Vision: Must be able to read standard text and see objects at a distance of up to 20 feet.
- Hearing: Must be able to hear and understand conversations in a typical office environment.
- Mobility: Must be able to navigate office spaces, including accessing file cabinets and office machinery.
