As a General Laborer, you'll primarily work outdoors, facing varied and sometimes challenging conditions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Installation and Repair: Assisting with the installation and/or repair of water, sewer, and stormwater piping.
- Equipment Handling: Loading and unloading tools and equipment onto and from trucks as directed.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhering to traffic laws, safety practices, and occupational hazard guidelines.
- Driver’s License: A valid US Driver’s License is required.
- Work Schedule: Follow a firm work schedule as directed by the crew foreman.
- Teamwork: Build effective working relationships with team members, supervisors, and the public.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to carry and lift 70 pounds repeatedly during shifts.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation is essential.
- Talented yet Humble: Skilled in your craft but open to feedback and always striving to improve.
- Smart but Always Learning: Quick to grasp new concepts and committed to continuous learning and personal growth.
- Individually Capable While Supporting Others: Able to work independently and take initiative, yet always ready to lend a hand and support teammates when needed.
