The Relationship Manager provides substantial assistance to a top producing financial advisor in a well-established financial planning practice located in the West San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, CA.
Work as an employee of an independent advisor franchisee with a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial. Your contributions will free up the financial advisor to allow for more time with clients.
Our ideal candidate will desire working in a team-oriented firm, embrace technology, enjoy a collaborative environment and hold in high regard serving clients in a fiduciary capacity.
Specific Responsibilities may include:
- Processing, overseeing, reconciling, and communicating the successful completion of all client requests and transactions including: account establishment, account maintenance, service requests, check requests, account purchases, investment exchanges, redemptions, and transfers.
- Preparing and maintaining documents and client files in accordance with FINRA and SEC requirements.
- Answering incoming client phone calls and emails.
- Assisting with the preparation of client information using MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
This is not a sales position.
Desired Skills:
- Securities registration (Series 7 & 66, or equivalent)
Requirements:
- 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in the financial services industry;
- Two years of experience in a similar role or capacity;
- Commitment to professionalism and superb client service that consistently meets or exceeds client expectations;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and deepen client relationships;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of CRM and Money Guide Pro a plus
