What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Mechanical Coordinator Assistant position at Envision Benefits Group LLC?
Management and Construction Solutions Inc, an industry leader in the management of construction upgrades and installations of large industrial projects, is looking for an experienced Project Mechanical Coordinator. This is a full-time year-round position with a 7-month assignment in Skowhegan, ME. Permanent relocation is not required but onsite work is required for 20-25 days per month. A per diem allowance for housing and food as well as compensated travel between site and home are provided.
Duties include :
A daily presence in the field to supervise / oversee Mechanical Contractors to keep their work on-schedule and under budget while maintaining safe working conditions, including identifying / removing roadblocks to contractors' progress toward production targets
Other duties may include :
- Work with the Project Mechanical Coordinator Lead to create / review / approve Request for Quotations for labor / material / equipment necessary to complete the scope
- Work with the Project Mechanical Coordinator Lead to order material / equipment to complete scope, including verifying quantities through takeoffs and approving contractor requisitions.
- Work with the Project Mechanical Coordinator Lead to create / maintain / update Mechanical schedule
- Work with the Project Mechanical Coordinator Lead to review / monitor the Mechanical contractors' schedules / productivity / budgets with an emphasis on QA / QC
- Work with the Project Mechanical Coordinator Lead to perform construction commissioning activities, including the creation of the CCO packages
- Work with the Project Mechanical Coordinator Lead to lead all safety aspects of the construction site
