Envision Radiology is adding a Revenue Cycle Analyst II to the team!
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Position Pay Range: $64,050 - $80,050
The role can be on-site or remote in any of the approved states
Opportunity for additional, discretionary bonus available.
Summary/Objective:
The Revenue Cycle Analyst II will be responsible for optimizing our organization's financial performance by analyzing, improving, and streamlining revenue cycle processes. The Revenue Cycle Analyst II will be instrumental in enhancing our billing efficiency, maximizing reimbursements, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Essential Functions
1. Conducts in-depth analysis of revenue cycle data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
2. Develops and maintains comprehensive dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
3. Prepares and presents regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting revenue cycle performance and recommending actionable insights
4. Identifies inefficiencies in the revenue cycle and develop strategies to streamline processes
5. Sets and monitors key revenue cycle metrics, including days in A/R, collection rates, and bad debt percentages
6. Works closely with billing and coding teams to resolve complex denial issues
7. Benchmarks performance against industry standards and identify opportunities for improvement
8. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in billing, coding, and collections
9. Analyzes claim denials to identify root causes and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences
10. Works closely with billing and coding teams to resolve complex denial issues
11. Implements denial prevention strategies and monitor their effectiveness
12. Collaborates with IT teams to enhance system functionality and reporting capabilities
13. Other duties as assigned.

Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with healthcare financial management software
- Familiarity with EMR systems and revenue cycle management tools

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervision responsibilities.
Work Environment
Work is performed in an office setting with occasional exposure to electronic equipment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Job Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- 4 years of experience in a senior healthcare revenue cycle management or a similar role
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and financial forecasting
- In-depth knowledge of medical billing, coding, and reimbursement processes
- Excellent understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding systems
- Experience in a hospital or large healthcare system setting
- Experience with growth minded organizations
- Proficient in Tableau or MS Power BI
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent education, training and experience.
