Paid Time Off:
Envision Healthcare offers paid time off, 9 observed holidays and paid family leave. You accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) each pay period and depending on your position and can earn a minimum of 20 days and up to 25 days per calendar year.
Responsibilities
An excellent start to a healthcare experience begins with credentialed and licensed practitioners. The role of the Licensing Coordinator performs various functions related to the practitioner licensing from Initial applications to annual renewals. The Licensing Renewal Coordinator will oversee diverse day-to-day functions to ensure compliance with both state and federal regulations as well as Envision Healthcare internal policies and procedures. This position plays a major role in the accuracy of multiple databases, software, and daily operations of Envision Healthcare.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and process Clinician Initial and/or Renewal Licensing Applications and Supporting Documents.
- Follow up with Clinician as needed to obtain any necessary information.
- Follow up with various State Licensing Boards to process applications or to acquire application status’
- Organize, track, collect and manage documents/items requested by the state boards for multiple providers.
Including, but not limited to Background checks, CME Courses, fingerprint cards, jurisprudence exams, license verifications, employment affiliations, notarized forms, photos etc.
- Monitor and maintain current documents (License, DEA, CDS) that have been issued within our systems.
- Faxing, scanning, mailing, and populating multiple documents and forms
- Update / manage daily data entry and status of expired, pending, and new licenses in credentialing software
- Assist with weekly team licensure audits to ensure accuracy
- Regularly report out to Clinical & Operations Team provided status updates
Qualifications

- Knowledge of state licensing Boards and/or NCQA-TJC standards.
- Must be detail oriented, organized, and analytical.
- Ability to work independently, or in a team setting.
- Able to succeed and thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Highly adaptable and resilient to changing needs, while meeting aggressive deadlines.
- Assist Credentialing Manager and Coordinator with other Licensing/Renewal Licensing application tasks, as needed.
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with internal/external customers.
- Direct interaction with Clinicians and/or Senior Management (comfort level with speaking publicly and providing data output to various levels of leadership).
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum 1-3 years in a licensing capacity within the Healthcare field.
