What are the responsibilities and job description for the Newborn Hearing Screening Technician - Plano position at Envision Healthcare?
Did you know that hearing loss is the most common birth defect in newborn infants? In fact, early screening, diagnosis, and treatment can help children with hearing loss develop speech, language, and social skills. As a Newborn Hearing Screening Technician, you will help support and provide families with valuable information about their babies hearing screen results.
We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our dynamic team in the Newborn Nursery/NICU at Medical City Plano in Plano, TX. In this position, you will work on-site performing state mandated hearing screens on newborns. This part time position will enable the right person to work up to 20 hours per week including weekends and holidays. Our program operates 7 days a week 365 days a year, and schedules are provided a month in advance.
The starting rate for this position is $16.00 an hour.
