Paid Time Off:

Responsibilities
Summary
We have an exciting on-site opportunity available for an experienced Scheduler II supporting our Anesthesia OR Service Line in Scottsdale, AZ. A Scheduler II manages a complex, high-volume anesthesia schedule at the patient level with clinical managerial support.
This Scheduler II position is an on-site position at the OR desk of a hospital partner. This will be a 4-day per week, 10-hour per day schedule, once finalized.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand the culture and process of the Clinical division. Work with co-schedulers to run the daily OR schedule prepared the day before. React and adjust to emergencies, schedule changes, clinician call outs, and other staffing issues to provide coverage for cases.
- Within the scope of the Scheduler's established authority limits, analyze situations and independently manage daily anesthesia coverage at the OR level.
- Develop strong relationships with clinicians, and internal and external team members.
- Problem solve with scheduling team members to brainstorm issues.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency, flexibility, and a positive approach to problem solving within our fast-paced environment.
- Communicate problems to Scheduling Leadership and Clinical leadership as necessary.
- Adhere to Information Security Policies and ensure that Envision is as secure as possible.
Qualifications

- Demonstrated proficiency in scheduling and managing large, complex workloads.

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Strong customer service experience working with patients and clinicians.
- Ability to show independent thinking, analysis and problem solving
- Fast and accurate data entry skills.
- Proven success with all the following:
- strong communication and negotiation skills
- developing strong relationships via the phone, text and electronic methods
- detail oriented and able to multi-task
- team player, able to collaborate with and support others
- meeting stringent deadlines in a fast-paced team environment, handling conflict with poise and working well under pressure
- Able to work a 4-day, 10-hour onsite schedule between the hours of 6:30am and 5:30pm.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years' Provider scheduling experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- EMR experience is highly preferred; such as Cerner or Epic.
