Job Summary:
The Hospice Account Executive is a key position within the company. This person is responsible for ensuring that no eligible person is left behind. At Envision, the Account Executive will develop and implement business-building and relationship-building strategies for our patients, families, and clients.
The highest priority is the patient's needs. This position is the front line of Envision's commitment to care and patient satisfaction. The priorities of business growth and patient satisfaction are of equal importance for the Account Executive.
Key referral sources include physician's clinics, nursing homes, assisted/independent living facilities, and hospital personnel, including but not limited to case managers, discharge planners, and other appropriate referral sources. The Account Executive will actively establish and maintain market awareness, acceptance, and branding of the company as the "Optimal Choice" for Hospice needs throughout Envision's local service area. This person will represent Envision and its services in a competent, professional, and responsive manner and maintain high-quality customer service standards in compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and/or related healthcare experience and knowledge.
• Must have at least a year of experience working in Hospice, Palliative, Assisted Living, or Memory Care.
• Experience working for a Hospice company or agency is highly preferred.
• Must have at least two years of recent medical field sales experience and a demonstrated history of positive sales results.
• Ability to market effectively with customers, referral sources, and the community.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
• Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
• Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations.
• Ability to be creative, "think outside the box" and have fun doing so.
• Must have a current, valid driver's license, auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation.
