What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent position at enVision Hotels?
Tasks are included but not limited to:
- Greet guests upon interaction with a warm and friendly greeting.
- Register and assign guests to hotel rooms using the Property Management System
- Establish method of payment and verify credit for check ins.
- Make and confirm reservations via phone and in person.
- Use the Property Management System to perform the night audit function including verification of payment and rate for all rooms.
- Transmit, receive messages, and wake up calls using telephones or PMS system.
- Reconcile credit card payments between the PMS and payment processor.
- Respond to guest requests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Perform security and safety checks throughout the shift.
- Maintain safety of self, guests and company owned property at all times.
- Complete Light Housekeeping Duties in the Lobby Area including but not limited to mopping, dusting, sweeping and window/door glass cleaning.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction and take appropriate steps to resolve any guest issues immediately
- Communication and documentation of vital shift information via email to other team member and General Manager every worked shift.
