A well-respected and established Interventional Pain Management practice, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible trained interventional Pain Management Physician for their Asheville, North Carolina area offices. One of the largest pain groups in the region, we are growing and needing to add an additional pain specialist to help match growth.
Candidate(s) must have excellent bedside manner, time management skills and be looking for long-term employment in an outpatient clinical setting. The physician will provide comprehensive multi-disciplinary pain management care and may supervise ARNPs/Physician Assistants. Position requires a variety of clinical and technical skills including coordination, workup, diagnosis, treatment, interventional and medical management with follow up to pain patients. Medical management is done with Advanced Practice providers, allowing physician to focus on performing procedures, operating, and evaluating new patients.
Clinic hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.

Qualifications, Skills Requirements and Education
· Must have obtained a MD or DO degree and completed an accredited residency program.
· Training in specified area of medical specialty (Pain Management )
· Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for delivery of medical care.
· Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
· Knowledge of comprehensive medical evaluation, including diagnosis and treatment plans for patients in acute, chronic, cancer or other types of pain and patient care services in area of medical expertise.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
· Must be credentialed per facility policies and procedures.
· Licensure, registry required: State of North Carolina and Federal DEA Certification: Valid Medical License
· Certifications: BLS/ACLS Certified
