Envision Technology, an innovative small business providing advanced electro-optical solutions for defense applications, is seeking a Human Resources Specialist. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our Human Resources department with recruiting, scheduling interviews, onboarding, compliance, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Responsibilities:
· Perform recruiting tasks such as assisting with job descriptions, reviewing resumes, conducting and scheduling interviews, assisting with the hiring process, and following up with candidates.
· Coordinate onboarding process for new employees, including new hire orientation, processing onboarding paperwork and updating employee files.
· Compile and process employee documentation and records.
· Audit files and records to ensure all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
· Act as a liaison between the Human Resources department and other employees.
· Serve as a reliable source of information for employees, promptly answering questions and escalating critical issues to the Human Resources Manager.
· Assist the Human Resources Manager with formulating policies, procedures, and changes, as well as communicating all updates to employees.
· Understand and adhere to compliance requirements, ensuring the company's Human Resources practices align with federal, state, and local laws.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Associate or Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field.
· Two plus years of HR experience within a manufacturing environment desired.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
· Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Ability to move up to 25 pounds.
