Production Assembler
Envision Technology, an innovative small business providing advanced electro-optical solutions for defense applications, is seeking a Production Assembler. In this role, you are responsible for assembling mechanical, electrical, and/or optical parts through hand tools or fixturing, soldering electrical components and working with manufacturing engineering and production line leadership to meet production goals. Additional tasks may include diagnosing, troubleshooting, or debugging failures, and performing product testing.
Responsibilities:
· Perform electronics and opto-mechanical assembly, disassembly, and rework with minimal supervision.
· Perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
· Follow standard operating instructions (SOPs), including work instructions, assembly instructions, process flows, and/or test plans.
· Perform in-process inspections and raise concerns as required.
· Provide support to resolve production flow issues.
· Work closely with engineers and management to meet production goals.
· Other production tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Assembly experience in electronics assembly, mechanical assembly, or optical assembly.
· Basic understanding of general/common hand tools.
· Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, managing time efficiently.
· Ability to adapt and thrive when priorities change.
· Ability to work alone and with others, with self-motivation and a can-do attitude.
· High school diploma or GED with 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Hand soldering experience considered a plus.
· Proficiency in troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment considered a plus.
· Ability to move up to 25 pounds.
