Envision Technology, an innovative small business providing advanced electro-optical solutions for defense applications, seeks a Production Technician. In this role, you are responsible for providing engineers with support, assembly, diagnostics, aligning, testing, and configuring optical, electrical, and mechanical components.
Responsibilities:
· Perform electronics and opto-mechanical assembly, disassembly, and rework, including soldering.
· Create work instructions, assembly instructions, and test plans.
· Work from complex wiring and assembly drawings, engineering sketches, plans, specifications, and test procedures.
· Test prototype assemblies and production units.
· Inspect assembled units and evaluate test results.
· Interpret and follow documents such as SOPs and safety rules.
· Work closely with engineers and program management to meet program goals.
· Opportunities for mechanical design and software generation.
Qualifications:
· Associate degree or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering or 5 years equivalent work experience.
· Assembly experience in electronics rework, mechanical assembly, and optical assembly.
· Basic understanding of electric circuits, multimeters, oscilloscopes, amp meters, and hand tools.
· Attention to detail, neatness of work performed, and being creative.
· Proficiency in troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment.
· Ability to work alone and with others, with self-motivation and a can-do attitude.
· Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time efficiently.
