We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetics and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape maintenance, lawn care, and the use of various hand and power tools. Duties
- Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Irrigate gardens and landscaped areas to ensure healthy plant growth.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various groundskeeping tasks.
- Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through planting, pruning, and fertilizing as needed.
- Monitor the condition of the grounds and report any issues such as pest infestations or disease in plants.
- Ensure all areas are clean and free from debris by regularly collecting trash and maintaining pathways.
- Assist in the installation of new landscaping features or enhancements as directed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques, including irrigation practices and pest management.
- Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in work performed.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- A passion for gardening and an eye for design are highly desirable traits for this position.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
