Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the landscape and ensuring that all outdoor areas are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing. This role requires a strong work ethic, a passion for outdoor work, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment effectively.
Duties
- Maintain and enhance the landscape by performing regular lawn care tasks, including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform groundskeeping duties efficiently.
- Irrigate gardens and landscaped areas to ensure proper hydration of plants.
- Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair.
- Assist in landscape maintenance projects, including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Remove debris, leaves, and litter from outdoor spaces to maintain cleanliness.
- Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling chemicals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and lawn care equipment is essential.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation between job sites.
