Groundskeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to maintain the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and possess the ability to work with various tools and equipment. This role involves ensuring that all grounds are well-kept, safe, and aesthetically pleasing, contributing to an inviting environment for all visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various groundskeeping tasks.
• Irrigate gardens and lawns to ensure optimal growth and health of plants.
• Maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, and other landscaping features through proper care techniques.
• Monitor the condition of outdoor areas and report any issues or repairs needed.
• Assist in planting, weeding, mulching, and maintaining garden areas.
• Ensure all groundskeeping equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
• Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling chemicals.

Experience

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with lawn care practices and horticultural principles is a plus.
• Ability to operate power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and techniques for effective water management is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance in all outdoor areas.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Landscaping: 2 years (Required)

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:
