Responsibilities
- Respond to user inquiries regarding computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
- Provide technical support for desktop environments, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to software and hardware.
- Assist users with network connectivity problems and ensure proper functioning of firewall settings.
- Utilize Jira for tracking support requests and managing workflow efficiently.
- Document all interactions with users in a clear and concise manner to maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions.
- Collaborate with IT teams to escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Maintain an organized workspace in the office environment to enhance productivity.
Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems.
- Experience in help desk or desktop support roles is preferred.
- Strong understanding of computer networking concepts.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
