Interns can expect to network with other students and professionals, gain useful skills, receive mentoring, and make their own contributions to the organization. Additionally, interns can participate in weekly hosted events focused on professional development, team building, and community service.
Essential Functions
The Heritage Group Internship Program provides hands-on, paid experiences in a corporate function or within one of our many operating companies. Interns can expect to network with other students and professionals, gain useful skills, receive mentoring, and make their own contributions to the organization. Additionally, interns can participate in our weekly hosted events focused on professional development, team building, and community service.
Intern pay is non-negotiable and is calculated based on current academic class standing $17/hour (Freshman) - $20/hour (Senior), etc.

Essential Functions
- Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner.
- Is able to understand the Company's Culture of Safety and acts as the champion for instilling behavior-based safety.
- Work directly with other the Envita Solutions Strategic Manager- Safety Compliance to provide an in-depth look at company compliance documents.
- Promote the Envita Solutions brand, become versed in our company mission, vision, values and purpose.
- Audits various work sites to ensure conformance with safety, health and environmental requirements and corporate policies; recommends and monitors corrective actions.
- Review information on safety performance for purposes of identifying any trends or patterns, for corrective or preventive measures.
- Required High School or Equivalent
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree 3rd/4th year or graduate of college program at an accredited institution with preference for Safety Science/Management, Occupational Safety Management, Behavioral Science, Data Analysis, and Health and Environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative thinker and problem-solver.
- Attention to detail.
- Microsoft Suite computer skills.
- Organized with ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
