Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Enviva. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as loaders, cranes, and ship loaders to safely and efficiently load bulk cargo onto vessels at a barge.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to safely and efficiently load bulk cargo.
• Maintain accurate records of cargo handled, including weights, measurements, and quantities.
• Identify potential failure points and take corrective action to prevent downtime.

Requirements

• Previous experience with heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to work in high temperatures and humid environments.
• Mechanical aptitude.

This is a physically demanding role requiring the ability to work in high places, use man lifts, and work in confined spaces.
