We are currently seeking a Full Time Project and Inspection Supervisor to work in our corporate office.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Property Inspections: Conduct detailed property inspections, covering both interior and exterior conditions, mechanical systems, structural integrity, and safety hazards. Identify and document safety hazards, life safety concerns, and maintenance needs, ensuring proper corrective actions are taken promptly. Coordinate and conduct preventative maintenance inspections and scheduling to avoid operational disruptions.
- Contractor and Vendor Management: Identify and locate qualified contractors in specific markets, ensuring they meet company standards for compliance, quality, and performance. Ensure all vendors and contractors comply with vendor compliance regulations and standards. Review and negotiate contracts, including Scope of Work, ensuring all terms are clear, feasible, and meet the company’s operational needs.
- Capital Projects Oversight: Oversee and review capital projects greater than $10k, ensuring proper documentation, project scope, and adherence to budgets. Provide supervision for insurance-related jobs and capital projects, managing fees and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Supervise and oversee renovation projects, ensuring they align with company standards and meet the necessary quality and safety benchmarks.
- Training & Development: Lead and conduct maintenance training sessions for team members and contractors, ensuring they understand proper maintenance procedures and safety protocols. Support regional teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure effective project management and training.
- Project & Budget Management: Assist in capital budgeting for the properties under management, ensuring that capital expenditures are allocated efficiently. Review the scope and budget of projects to ensure alignment with financial and operational objectives. Lead the oversight and management of specific renovation or capital improvement projects, ensuring timelines, costs, and quality standards are met.
- Inventory Management: Manage property inventories and supplies, ensuring that resources are available for timely maintenance and repair needs. Monitor and track inventory levels to maintain proper stock without over-ordering.
- Regional Leadership: Provide leadership to regional teams and SMEs, supporting their development and ensuring the completion of projects in compliance with company expectations and regulations.
- Other duties, as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Facilities Management or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in facilities management, construction project management, or a related field required.
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety credentials preferred.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Strong project management, inspection, and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of budgeting, capital planning, and inventory management.
- Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, regional teams, and management.
- Proficiency in construction contract negotiations and compliance standards.
