Construction Project Accountant - Hybrid | Full-Time | Fishers, IN
Your day starts by partnering with Construction Project Managers to keep fast-moving construction projects on track. You’re the go-to for organizing vendor invoices, reviewing project budgets, and making sure monthly billings are clean, accurate, and on time. You spot discrepancies before they become issues, help maintain project cash flow, and dig into the numbers that make or break a successful build. What You'll Do
- Handle monthly billing, project draws, intercompany reconciliation, and project cash flow.
- Review and process vendor invoices and subcontractor AIA billing.
- Provide job cost reporting, variance analysis, and help field teams stay financially informed.
- Support financial closeouts, lien waivers, audits, and special projects.
- Assist with commitments, change orders, budgets, forecasts, and WIP billing checks.
What You Bring
- 2 years in construction accounting (preferred).
- Strong general accounting knowledge and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, AIA documentation, and job cost ERP systems (Spectrum is a plus).
- Excellent communicator and natural problem-solver.
- Energetic, flexible, and motivated self-starter.
