Job Purpose
The key branch employee for marketing efforts within a geographical location. Under the direct supervision of a Branch Manager, the Business Development Representative provides marketing and sales support for the Branch. The Business Development Representative will develop and execute marketing plans which increases Envoy's recognition within the Realtor community. The Business Development Representative's efforts / plan should result in increased business opportunities and market penetration. The results should be measurable and quantifiable on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
The primary job duties and responsibilities this position include but are not limited to :
- Assists branch with marketing efforts to ensure continued flow of business, including preparing marketing materials, identifying customer prospects, and identifying market trends
- Answers inquiries concerning the processing of their loan from customers on behalf of the Mortgage Consultant or Branch Manager
- Handle telephone or email correspondence from customers; follow up initial contacts
- Call leads using CRM system and take mortgage loan applications
- Market Envoy's loan programs to local Realtors, Builders, Financial Planners, and consumers
- Market to existing Envoy data base contacts : maintain records of contacts, accounts, and orders
- Build new relationships with Realtors, Builders and Financial Planners
- Attend Open Houses, Realtor sales meetings and other appropriate business functions
- Promote Envoy's products, systems and competitive advantages
- Coordinate day-to-day activities that lead to the completion of projects and tasks
- Coordinate and support social media campaigns, blogs, emails, promotions, etc.
- Remain current with evolving social media trends and provide recommendations regarding social media best practices
- Monitor the marketing queue and complete social media-related requests and assist with general marketing requests
- Execute "classic" marketing activities for targeted audiences and measure effectiveness
- Advise branch management of results of marketing programs
- Performs filing, typing, data entry and various other clerical and administrative duties as assigned by the Branch Manager
- Other duties as assigned. .
