Environmental Science U.S. LLC’s Cary, NC office seeks a Project Management Officer. This is a hybrid office/work-from-home position that will contribute to establishing and improving existing processes and tools as well as providing high-quality data from these systems for resource planning, bottleneck analysis, cost tracking and economical business evaluation of development projects. Will reference the Project Management Officer (PMO) toolbox and act as an active member of the PMO community striving for project management excellence across the whole organization. Will also: (i) act as the business owner of project planning, resource management and portfolio management tools; (ii) ensure that performers/users are trained to use the tools properly; (iii) support decision making on portfolio development; (iv) provide a full range of strategic project management, system proficiency and administrative support to the R&D and Marketing organization worldwide; and (v) assist with change management activities as they relate to roll out of new processes and systems.
This is a hybrid office-based/work-from-home position within the United States. The employee can work remotely from within the United States but must be able to work on-site/in the Cary office at least three (3) days per week.
Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in a Life Science, Business, or a related field plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related position.
Must also have any experience with or knowledge of: (i) providing project management methodologies and expertise applicable to Environmental Science business; (ii) managing and delivering projects for a company in life science environment; (iii) business transformations (e.g., Mergers/Integrations and Change Management) and application of key consulting methodologies, tools and frameworks in cross-functional projects (such as core business, service and innovative projects); (iv) conducting business assessments to facilitate strategic decision making process; (v) demonstrating senior stakeholder management and/or international work experience; (vi) conducting data quality and resource analysis; (vii) deriving meaningful recommendations enabling decision-making by executive leaders; (viii) developing and maintaining complex PowerBI reports, aggregating several types of data sources, including Dynamics 365 and Azure Data Lake; (ix) Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP Project Management module (Administrator level knowledge); (x) training people on complex processes, including IT tools supporting those processes; and (xi) Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP Accounting and Procurement module (Advanced users), including accruals, invoice postings, financial dimensions, PO and PR features.
This is a hybrid office-based/work-from-home position within the United States. The employee can work remotely from within the United States but must be able to work on-site/in the Cary office at least three (3) days per week.
