Snow Removal Laborer

Location: Queens NYC

Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our snow removal team. As a Snow Removal Laborer, you will be responsible for clearing snow and ice from various properties to ensure safe and accessible walkways, driveways, and parking areas. This is a seasonal position with the potential for additional work during heavy snowfall periods.

Key Responsibilities:

- Shovel snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots.

- Apply salt or other de-icing agents to prevent ice buildup.

- Ensure all assigned areas are cleared of snow and ice in a timely manner.

- Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.

- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear.

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

- Respond promptly to snow and ice removal requests.

Qualifications:

- Ability to work in cold weather conditions for extended periods.

- Physical stamina and strength to handle manual snow removal tasks.

- Experience with snow removal equipment is preferred but not required.

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on snowfall.

- Valid driver's license may be required for some positions.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 12 per week

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed
