Job Title : Plant Operator I / II / III – Contract Position
Job Description :
We are looking for an Oilfield Operations Specialist with 2-5 years of oilfield experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with high-pressure systems, lockout / tagout (LOTO) procedures, and oilfield safety practices. The role will require technical knowledge of gas compression, dehydration, and amine treating systems, as well as a solid understanding of documentation and regulatory compliance. Position is a 7-on, 7-off shiftwork schedule, with 12 hour shifts.
Responsibilities :
- Operate and monitor high-pressure gas processing equipment, including amine treating and dehydration equipment.
- Ensure compliance with lockout / tagout (LOTO) safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Assist with troubleshooting and maintenance of gas compression, dehydration, and amine treating systems.
- Participate in process hazard analysis (PHA) for the plant as required.
- Review and update operating procedures to meet OSHA and industry standards.
- Write and / or review new operating procedures as needed.
- Manage MOC (Management of Change) documentation as required
- Verify P&IDs and other technical documents up to date and accurate.
- Oversee parts, inventory, and consumables.
- Train to become a Senior Technician while assisting with senior tech responsibilities.
- Gain proficiency in high-level troubleshooting of plant and compressor station equipment.
- Track and analyze chemical usage to optimize plant operations.
