The ideal candidate will have significant experience in commercial electrical work, particularly in critical power systems such as UPS systems, transfer switches, and generators.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-On Field Work:
- Perform on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs for critical power systems, including UPS systems, transfer switches, and generators.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in the field.
- Serve as the primary technical expert on critical power installations and upgrades.
- Lead the development and growth of the Electrical Contracting division.
- Build and manage a team of electricians and apprentices.
- Develop strategies to expand our electrical contracting services.
- Plan and execute electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, local building codes, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety training and site inspections.
- Obtain and maintain necessary permits and licenses for projects.
- Provide expert-level knowledge and troubleshooting for electrical systems, particularly critical power installations.
- Support the sales and engineering teams with technical insights during project planning and customer consultations.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Represent EOLA Power in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
- Must hold a current and active Master Electrician License in the state of Florida or the ability to obtain one.
- 10 years of experience in commercial electrical installations, with a strong preference for critical power systems (UPS, transfer switches, generators).
- Proven leadership experience, including managing teams and overseeing large-scale electrical projects.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Experience in critical power installations, including data centers, hospitals, and other mission-critical facilities.
