What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Product Manager, Integrations position at Eon Health?
Work with the Industry Leader
At Eon, our mission is to make patients healthier and healthcare affordable. Eon Patient Management, or EPM as we like to call it, identifies patients with disease risk and streamlines clinical decision analysis so clinicians can work at the top of their licenses. With unique solutions across multiple disease states, we drive unprecedented adherence to care pathways, so that more patients are seen and more survive. When patients win, healthcare systems win - both clinically and financially.
As a market leader in incidental tracking and patient management, Eon is pioneering the use of Artificial Intelligence to enable healthcare enterprises, ranging from small health systems to large, national-scale IDN’s in the US.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead our efforts in developing and managing integrations with 3rd party systems; primarily EMRs with a focus on Epic, but also in developing our public and private API capabilities for data exchange with other industry partners. This is a unique opportunity to shape a product that directly impacts healthcare delivery and patient care quality.
In this role you will:
- Integration Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and own the product strategy and roadmap for workflow integrations, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
- EMR Integration Leadership: Drive initiatives for seamless, 2-way integrations with Epic and other EMRs, enabling smooth workflows and data consistency for care teams.
- 3rd Party Partner Integrations: Identify and prioritize integration opportunities with potential adjacent industry partners, like diagnostic and device companies, as well as with other potential sources of 3rd party data (claims, HIE, 3rd party digital health companies, etc.) .
- Customer-Centric Product Development: Collaborate closely with customers, clinical stakeholders, and internal teams to understand integration requirements and deliver solutions that add value to end-users.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering and implementation teams to ensure successful execution of integrations, including rigorous testing and quality assurance.
- Vendor and Partnership Management: Liaise with third-party vendors and integration partners to stay current on integration capabilities and ensure alignment with our product vision.
- Market and Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to proactively shape integration strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 7 years in product management, with a focus on healthcare software, HIEs or interoperability solutions. Hands-on experience with Epic integrations (CDS hooks, BPAs, custom worklists, MyChart communication, EDI, etc.) is required.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7), EMR integration architectures, and API-based data exchange.
- Proven ability to analyze complex healthcare workflows and translate them into product requirements that support operational efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Demonstrated experience working closely with healthcare providers, technical teams, and third-party vendors to gather insights and prioritize product requirements.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Healthcare Administration). An advanced degree is a plus.
