POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Production/Assembly Technician is an entry level position. You will use assorted tools and follow detailed work instructions to assemble parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies for the production of various remote weapon stations for use by the US military and our international partners. Maintain a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by management.
Job Responsibilities
- Assemble, modify, test, and inspect assemblies and finished products in accordance with established quality, operation standards and process instructions to meet the production schedule
- Follow and suggest improvements to the manufacturing process instructions and test documentation
- Monitor and report any quality issues
- Maintain current certifications in the use of special tools, equipment, or processes
- Other Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications, Education & Experience
- HS Diploma/GED
- 1-5 years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in electronics assembly or a similar role, highly desirable
- Soldering experience a plus
- You must possess and demonstrate high attention to detail, good manual dexterity, a degree of mechanical skill and intuition.
- The ability to read and understand written instructions, and strong communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active security clearance
Knowledge & Skills

Demonstrated computer skills to include MS Word and Excel
- Knowledge and application of ESD procedures
