Minimum Requirements And Qualification
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and industrial engineering techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CREO, SolidWorks, or any other CAD software is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Major Responsibility Areas And Duties
- Assist in analyzing and optimizing production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Conduct time and motion studies to evaluate work methods and recommend process improvements.
- Write Work Instructions for Assembly
- Collect and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and propose corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Assist in designing and optimizing workflows, layouts, and workstation ergonomics.
- Participate in cost-reduction projects by improving material flow, equipment utilization, and labor efficiency.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation related to production performance and process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations in all production activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic understanding of quality management systems (QMS).
