Metal Fabricator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metalworking and fabrication processes, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. This role involves working with various materials, including sheet metal and pipes, to create high-quality products that meet our specifications. The Metal Fabricator will utilize a variety of tools and equipment, ensuring safety and precision in all tasks.

Duties

• Operate power tools and equipment such as cranes and forklifts to handle materials safely.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Fabricate metal components by cutting, shaping, and assembling materials using welding techniques.
• Perform pipe threading and soldering as required for specific projects.
• Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy in dimensions and tolerances.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• MUST KNOW HOW TO FABRICATE HANDRAILS, RAILINGS AND GATES!!!!!!!
• Proven experience in metal fabrication or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with various fabrication techniques including welding, soldering, and pipe threading.
• Proficient in using power tools, cranes, forklifts, and measuring instruments such as calipers.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
