About The Role
The IT Business Applications Manager (IT BAM) is critical to the proper functioning of business information systems. The IT BAM will collaborate with all business units to support the day-to-day operations of Eos Energy Storage's ERP (NetSuite), HRIS Platform (Workday), CRM (Salesforce) SharePoint and all other business systems. We're looking for an IT BAM to not only address the technical challenges these systems propose but manage the relationship with the application vendors and define a growth and support strategy for EOS as we continue to scale. This role will also be a key player in supporting the SOX IT General Controls around the financial systems EOS is dependent on.
Accountable For
The IT BAM will be the center of the relationships between Information Technology and each business unit at EOS. It is critical that this candidate can understand the technology that drives business applications, but also translate that information to a format each business unit can understand. They will also work with each business unit to understand their vision and dependencies for their applications, and work with IT Management to develop a strategy for support, security, and growth. This individual must have a strong ability to understand, align, and communicate Data Governance and Integration to support core business applications and the exchange of data between them. The candidate must also be strong in administering SharePoint in O365 and help guide the company in a standardized SharePoint layout. Candidates should have a passion for optimization and understanding emerging technologies and managing the deployment of the same where appropriate. Lastly, the candidate must understand the fundamentals of SOX compliancy, and work with both EOS IT and Compliance leadership to help enforce and report on IT General Controls to ensure that all financial systems are protected properly and aligned with our compliance needs.
Responsibilities
1. Technical Implementation
- Develop NetSuite and Salesforce processes according to business requirements.
- Coordinating implementation team tasks towards goals.
- Testing / Demo Functionality.

4. Manage a team of administrators and developers that support critical business applications like Salesforce, NetSuite, Jira, etc.
5. Define strategies for onboarding new enterprise applications and create support structure for either internal team or vendor managed.
6. Develop custom reports for business applications.
7. Create documentation such as policies, procedures, workflows, and user guides.
8. Support Middleware and data integration services between internal and hosted applications. Boomi administration experience is a plus.
9. Project manage and lead internal projects while serving as an individual contributor.
10. Coordinate with IT Management on active projects, new initiatives, and support challenges.
11. Experience supporting and developing Jira hosted platforms
12. Translate business requirements into user and functional requirements.
13. Support research, analysis, and development of new concepts and emerging technologies.
14. Provider ownership and expertise for monthly, quarterly and annual SOX IT General Controls. This includes data gathering, analytics, forensics, reporting and publishing for review internally and externally.
15. Administer company hosted SharePoint environment and guide department champions on issues within their own group pages / sites.
16. Support IAM functions of critical business applications, Including Workday, Salesforce, NetSuite, etc.
