The Banquet Captain also assists with handling logistics and resolves any issues that may arise during the event. Responsibilities:
- Overseeing banquet event setup and ensuring all details are in line with client requirements
- Coordinating with the kitchen staff and chefs to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages
- Ensuring that the presentation of food and beverages meet the hotel’s standards
- Directing banquet staff throughout the event, ensuring they provide excellent customer service
- Addressing and resolving any issues or complaints from guests in a professional and timely manner
- Monitoring and managing inventory of supplies and equipment
- Communicating with clients before, during and after the event to ensure satisfaction and to build relationships for future bookings
- Providing training and guidance to banquet staff as needed
