What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Associate position at EOS Hospitality Wequassett Employee LLC?
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Provide product recommendations and information about merchandise.
- Process sales transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including restocking merchandise.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock to the Retail Manager.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any concerns in a courteous manner.
- Follow resort and shop policies for cash handling, security, and loss prevention.
- Work collaboratively with all resort staff to enhance the guest experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Retail Manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous retail, merchandising, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to operate a POS (point of sale) system, computer, and handle credit card transactions.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Schedule Requirements:
- This is a seasonal position for the duration of May through December. Applicants must have a flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays.
